Handicaps

Maintaining your handicaps is probably the most practical way of comparing success rate across the various round types in Archery. It also enables individual archers to assess improvements and track their progress.

In ArcheryLog.com, we use the UK handicap system which assigns each result submission with a point value (0 to 100) in order to make it comparable with all previous submissions of that bow type and locale (indoors or outdoors). The lower the handicap, the better you fared.

The UK handicap system is based on a method devised by David Lane to produce the Handicap tables, as published by ArcheryGB.

ArcheryLog.com proudly presents our free handicap calculator for you to track your success rate.
